Why I created My Fog Log

A tool born from a need I knew firsthand.

I spent my adult life caring for others as a care giver. After a violent assault left me with a traumatic brain injury, I found myself on the other side of care, trying to explain symptoms I could not always remember.

What day was the migraine? Did my vision change? What treatment did I try? The details mattered, but my injured brain did not always hold on to them.

I needed a simple place to record what I was experiencing when I was experiencing it. That need became My Fog Log. I hope it helps someone else feel a little more prepared and a little more heard.

You deserve to be able to tell your story, even when memory makes finding the words difficult.
